22.5 weeks :) 5 Months !!

Dear Noel,
You are becoming such a big boy already !! I can not believe how far you've come in just 5 months ! You have such a strong personality and you KNOW what you want! You can sit up on your own for several minutes at a time all on your own now!
You started doing that last Sunday on the 18th of May! You had just turned 5 months old! At first you could only hold yourself for 30seconds to a minute. But the next day you held it about a minute to a minute and a half. Then on the third day you really started getting the hang of it!! And now you sit up like a pro!
Today I noticed that your first tooth is popping through!! So crazy ! I am super super excited about it lol and I don't really know why. But it's exciting for me to watch all these little milestones.

As I have previously mentioned you have such a strong personality, you literally throw fits already when you don't get your own way. I think I may just have my hands full with you. :p Today you wanted my cell phone at the grocery store and I wouldn't let you have it, so you started screaming and crying about it. I picked you up and hugged you until you calmed down and then you seemed to have forgotten why you were so upset to begin with. You rode in the cart for your very first time today! You loved it!

Oh, you've also recently taken your first ride on a swing!! You like it lol, you're not overly amused with it but you seem to enjoy it. Although you don't seem to like the stomach drop feeling which is what I assume you make that silly face at when the swing is coming forward lol!
Hm, what else? ... Clapping. LOL, You really like clapping. You think it's hysterical when anyone claps in front of you. I think you like the noise it makes. You just laugh and laugh and laugh. :p It's adorable!
We went on your sissy's first field trip with her! You were a bit fussy since you were stuck wrapped up in the mai tai with me most of the time but you were still really good. You didn't even cry. :) We went to this outside nature walk place. It was interesting I guess lol.

OH ! One more thing. Your daddy proposed to me! On the 15th of this month! It was so sweet. We were down at Lee's pond and I was wearing you. We sat down looking for fishes but there were none - then out of nowhere there were tons! We joked that you were the fish whisperer! The fish stayed for a while and I wondered aloud why they were still around us. Your daddy said, "I think I know what they're waiting for!" And he got down on his knee and proposed! I said yes of course! Then he gave me a kiss and right after you mimicked! And made a kissy face and sound with your little lips LOL, too cute!

It' 5 months and we're still nursing strong! Only breastmilk for you ! <3 I think its incredible that not only did I grow you inside of my body but I am continuing to give you health and life outside of my body while still using my body! My body alone provides you with nourishment, life, and growth. And that is just so crazy and amazing!

20 weeks.

Dear Noel,
You've reached 20 weeks old. You've become such a big boy !
We recently got you a jumparoo seat thingy lol, you love it ! You love to jump up and down in it. You smile and laugh and laugh as you jump up and down and make the music
play. It's just about the cutest thing. You have the biggest smile with the most adorable plush cheeks lol. I'm so in love with you. Before I had you I thought, "What will I do with a boy!" But now that you're here, I can't imagine anything else.
I recently taught you how to Rawr! It's freaking cute !!! You have been pushing your bum into the air like you're trying to get your legs into a crawling position already. I know I'm biased but I want to say you're advanced lol! You try to talk and you try to do "big boy" things already. Oh, and everything you can get into your hands you believe it belongs in your mouth and it will probably ta
ste good LOL.
You are such a big boy ! You had your 4 month appt this week and you weighed 14 lbs 10 oz, which isn't much from last appt since you've become more active now, but you're in 6/9 month clothing most of the time !
You have become amazingly good at reaching for and most of the time grabbing whatever you want lol. Cell phones specifically haha. And you still suck your little thumb sometimes.
You are also on an amazing schedule. You awaken at around 10am after nursing in your sleep, nurse then nap around 12/1pm, then nurse and nap around 5/6pm, then nurse and nap around 8pm, then you nurse and go down for the night around midnight. I love this schedule. You even put yourself on it!

19 weeks. 4 months old!

Dear Noel,
You are 19 weeks old tomorrow! Sorry I haven't updated during the past couple weeks, I've been pretty busy with some things. But don't worry ! I have pictures and an update!
So a couple weeks ago you learned how to roll! You now roll over at every chance you get and you always try to roll over when we're trying to change you, never fails. I also have been trying to teach you to Rawr and I'm pretty sure you're getting the hang of it! Hahaha.

You love to chew on your chew toy. It is your favorite toy to have. You chew on almost anything you can get your hands on!

You've become really handsy - you have excellent hand eye coordination already. You can grab nearly anything in the blink of an eye. Yesterday you came to the breakfast restaurant with your dad, sissy, step uncle?, and me and for one second I took my eyes off of you (while holding you on my lap) so that I could take your hat out of your carseat to put you in it. Well, you happened to grab my plate right off the table and spill my eggs all over you. You're quick!

Easter came and went. You got a basket and then we went to the zoo. The night before I crocheted you the cutest bunny hat! It's just adorable!

I still wear you and you love it. We recently got this new carrier. It's called a Mai Tai. It's pretty comfy. You seem to really like it, especially because you like to chew on the arm straps. It's adorable :)




We're still on our nursing journey ! I can't believe how far we've made it! We're at 4.5 months and no signs of stopping yet! I've also recently pumped and saved 60 oz of extra breastmilk to donate to someone that needs it! I find it so incredibly crazy that I not only nourished you within my body for 9 months but I've also continued nourishing outside, still using my body, for 4.5 months!



You've also been trying to sit up - you can hold yourself up for a few seconds - maybe 30 but then your arms get tired and you faceplant haha. But it's adorable. <3

16 weeks

Dear Noel,
You are now 16 weeks old!! Your big sister wore you for the first time this week! You both loved it, you actually knocked right out lol!

This week we had a family zoo trip, it was great! You, daddy, sister, and I. We really enjoyed it.

We also stopped and got Chinese and this Chinese lady that I've known since your sissys pregnancy got to see you, she thought you were super cute. :)

You've started knowing when I'm around and calling for me lol. If Mammee has you you'll sit quietly and easily in the kiddy chair but the moment you see me you start calling for me as if to say, "Mommy, come pick me up!!" :) I don't mind. It's adorable.
Not much else this week. But that's okay. You're growing and now experiencing the world, next milestones are all big milestones and they won't be happening every week but more like monthly. :)

15 weeks old! And April Fools day :p

Dear Noel,
You've reached 15 weeks old. :) 3.5 months! Such a big boy! At your appt last Weds for a diaper rash you were weighed in at 14lbs 10oz with clothes on!! Wowweee ! Big boy ! :) You're my little chubster :D. You are talking up a storm now !! It is crazy how much you talk to us now lol, always something to say! It's adorable! <3 You laugh so hard now, you're super ticklish, and your smiles can make anyone melt. :) Or I'm just a mommy obsessed with her babies haha.


You've been trying to pull yourself to sitting up and want to just sit up all on your own lol, even though you don't have the balance for it yet. But I love that you try!

You still love the shower. At night sometimes you will cry and cry and daddy and I try everything - we know you're just tired and fighting sleep but we just can't seem to get you to sleep. You won't even comfort nurse to sleep. :( So, we grab the water sling and as soon as you hear the water running you get quiet. It's like you KNOW that we're bringing you in the shower in the sling lol. After we bring you in you knock out cold in under 3 minutes LOL. It reallllyyyy soothes you! Glad we know what does. :)

Recently you've taken a liking to anything that lights up - phones, computers, tv's.... not just the light on the ceiling anymore. And you show interest in these things by grabbing for them. You will reach and grab and try to keep haha. Especially cell phones. You want them! Sissy showed you that you can watch shows on Mamee's cell phone and she's showed you a lot of shows. But none have caught your attention like Barney has. You really seem to enjoy Barney lol. You just stare at it in amazement lol. It's too cute!


Ohhh, we got a new wrap this week! It's Natibaby Dino's. I love it but not as much as Jack's Treasure yet. It is softer and more floppyish but I just love Jack, I don't know why. We went to the zoo this week in Dino's - you were even awake for most of the zoo, although you just looked around and didn't really know what was going on. :) We are going to have so many zoo trips throughout your life because I absolutely love the zoo! <3 So does Sissy, so you're stuck with us. :D

Today daddy wore you as I was pulling April Fools day jokes on your Mammee with sissy ! LOL He did a great job wrapping you in Jack and you were out in minutes.











Oh yeah! One last thing. You seem ready to go!! LOL - This week you were laying on your belly like this, in this photo and you were kicking your legs and trying to go. Mammee was behind you and you were pushing your feet off of her legs trying to inch closer to me lol. My smart little man! <3

14 weeks !

Dear Noel,
You are so adorable ! :) You make me feel so happy and I now can not imagine not having you in my life. Not much has changed recently. You have started feeling better - thank goodness! So you're not sick anymore. You have pretty much grown out of all of your 0-3 clothing and you're now in 3-6. :D

Oh ! And daddy wore you for the first time this week! <3 It was one of the most precious things I've ever seen!













We are pretty convinced that you may be a thumb sucker. You often shove your thumb in your mouth. :) I seriously believe you're teething too - fists and fingers always being chewed on also lol. Anything you can stick in your mouth you try to!





You are getting so strong! You hold your head up really well now and you've just gotten so big. It's bittersweet. I love watching you grow but I love you being my itty bitty baby for now. :)

Oh I also gave you your first bath alone! You were all smiles. I usually bring you in the shower with me, sometimes using the sling. But you really liked the baby bathtub! So cute!









I absolutely love watching you and Lailah together. My big baby and my little baby. <3 Nothing can make my heart melt more!

13 weeks and officially 3 months old!

Dear Noel,
You my little man have reached 3 months old!! You are now laughing pretty often - you love when I pretend to eat your
belly, blow raspberries on it, or kiss your hands and cheeks. You think it's really funny :). I love making you happy and laugh!! When I talk to anyone - Daddy, Mamee, Auntie Moe, Brian... you just stare at me with this gigantic smile on your face. You seem to just love listening to my voice.

You now try to jump lol when people bounce you up and down while you're standing and then they stop, you bend your legs trying to make them keep you jumping! It's just too cute. You have started grabbing at almost anything lol, hair, clothing, daddy's glasses, skin, fingers, really anything you can get your little hands on! Which is great! I love when I nurse you and you grab my clothing and play with it as you nurse yourself content. :) You also now grab your little toes and seem to be really interested in them LOL.

You got your first cold this week and your first diaper rash! :( I have brought you to the doctors twice already. You had a low grade fever the first few days and you weren't eating very much, then you were seemingly throwing up everything you did eat when you started to, but now you're nursing decently and just sleeping often. I am hoping this is the last of it! You also have had a runny/stuffy nose, watery eyes, and a cough! Virus's are evil aren't they? :( Yucky. I've been treating your rash and that looks better also but not completely gone yet. :/ I hate when you're feeling sick!

I've also caught you for the second time sucking your thumb!! I secretly love it when you suck your thumb even though I shouldn't. When I was a little baby/girl I sucked my thumb - until I was 8 yrs old. So when you suck your thumb - I guess I feel that you're maybe a little bit like me and not all daddy. Selfish of me, maybe. You look just like your daddy - although you do have blue eyes still, like mine. :)

You've also been spending more time with your aunt, uncle, and mamee. Oh and Lailah said that when you get older you may not call her Lailah - you must call her Sister or Sissy LOL. I think it's adorable how much she treasures you. A few days ago when you weren't feeling well at all - you let out a long big burp and she started crying :(. She said, "I care about him, hes my little brother." Awhhhh :') So sweet!

I love, love, love this photo of me wearing you in Jack :) I love wearing you. I love being able to do things around the house or out of the house with you still being held close to me. :)  Although I really love this other picture as well! <3
